Custom Aquarium Installation

Custom aquarium design and installation is a detailed process and there are several options to consider. We are happy to discuss them with you and collaborate with interior designers, architects, and general contractors to make sure you get the aquarium you envision.

Some of the options include shape and size, structural support, cabinetry, electrical, and ventilation. The theme of the aquarium needs to be discussed as well as the fish selection. Whatever your choices are, we will walk you through the design and installation process and make sure we meet your expectation.

Once the aquarium design has been finalized we will begin the installation process. Our goal is to create a beautiful aquarium display, but we also want to create one that runs quietly and efficiently. We’ve learned from many years of experience what equipment to integrate and how to install it safely so it can run trouble-free for years to come.

Aquarium Themes

Decorative Coral Living Reef Artificial Reef

Saltwater: Decorative Corals

The decorative corals theme incorporates rocks, shells, coral skeletons, and seafans obtained responsibly from the ocean – mostly as a commercial fishing byproduct. It is a lovely display that is full of color and interesting shapes. We typically recommend two sets of decorative corals so that a dirty set could be swapped for a clean one.

Saltwater: Living Reef

If you want a “piece of the ocean” in your living room or offices, nothing comes close to the variety, colors, and beauty of the living reef theme. A living reef aquarium consists of exotic fish, living corals, anemones, shrimps, crabs, urchins, and starfish. This ever-changing ecosystem will continue to grow and thrive for many years much like an underwater garden. It is truly fascinating to observe and is awe inspiring.

Saltwater: Artificial Reef

The artificial reef theme is a hand-crafted product that mimics corals of the ocean. Typically seen in public aquariums, this synthetic creation could be molded and designed to your liking and is a stunning display of color. It is most common for extra-large aquariums and when a reef-like aquarium is desired without the associated high maintenance.

Freshwater Tropical Community Freshwater Cichlids Freshwater Goldfish

Freshwater - Tropical Community

The Freshwater Tropical Community Aquarium is a wonderful display of color and variety. It mainly consists of widely available small-sized fish such as Platies, Mollies, Tetras, Gouramis, and others. This theme works well for small and large aquariums alike and is fairly inexpensive to install and maintain.

Freshwater - Cichlids

Cichlids are a very popular choice and for good reasons. They are hardy, colorful, large-sized, and have lots of personality. These interesting fish that do better in groups so stocking the tank generously is a plus. Cichlids are ideal candidates for large aquariums with lots of swimming space and make an awesome display.

Freshwater - Goldfish

Fancy Goldfish are available in many forms and are rounder that the common goldfish with their long flowy tails. They are most loved for their color variety, hardiness, and their big bulgy eyes. They are wonderful fish to observe with curious behavior and personality.
